Adrian Jones – Client Services Director
What is your role at bClear?
As Client Services Director, my role is to drive bClear’s success by ensuring we deliver exceptional client service. To achieve this, I have responsibility for all aspects of agency operations, with a strong focus on building a collaborative, happy and high-performing team.
What is your background and experience?
I’m an award-winning communications leader with more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, spanning PR, digital and internal communications. After an early career in journalism, I moved in-house and worked for a number for organisations including Lloyds Banking Group and Benefact Group. I’ve always wanted to work agency-side, and this role offered the perfect opportunity to use my skills and experience in a client-facing environment.
What inspires you?
I’m naturally curious and creative and I’m inspired by discovering what makes a business unique and working out how I can tell its story in a purposeful, authentic way.
I’m also inspired by helping people reach their potential. For me, there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing people grow and develop to reach their personal and professional goals.
And finally, like every PR pro, I’m absolutely inspired by landing coverage!
What do you enjoy most about your role?
The variety of working with different clients and the opportunity to work with some innovative, market-leading businesses. I also enjoy working alongside the talented team here at bClear, where I’m learning something new every day.
What do you like to do when you’re not at bClear?
I’m a dad to two amazing boys and in between ferrying them to athletics and football, I’m usually exploring the Worcestershire countryside, watching movies or feeding their growing appetites. When I’m not on dad duties, you’ll either find me in the gym, relaxing at home with a book or occasionally sipping a margarita in an upmarket cocktail bar.
What does this photo mean to you?
This photo was taken on the Pyg Track on Snowdon earlier this year and reminds me how important it is to take time out and re-connect nature. I love being outdoors but with work and family commitments it’s easy to get stuck in a rut so this year I made a commitment to get out more. I’d last climbed Snowdon as a teenager, and I’d forgotten how beautiful it was. Being out on the mountain, surrounded by stunning scenery, was a restorative experience and helped me to refocus and re-energise after a tough few months at work.
