The objective
Broker Just Mortgages was looking to build its profile among the broker community. bClear was hired to help attract advisers and increase numbers from 115 to 140 in year 1 – as well as to support the launch of a new self-employed division.
What we did
In the 10 years of working together, bClear has generated over 16,000 pieces of broker-facing coverage, as well as securing national print and TV opportunities.
The result
Just Mortgages increased its broker numbers to 160 in year 1, exceeding its target by 17%.
Today, the self-employed broker division is fast approaching 500 advisers, with more than 650 advisers across the entire business.
After one year of working with bClear, Just Mortgages received 1,115 spontaneous CVs from brokers wishing to join the company. Before appointing bClear, Just Mortgages spent £70,000 on recruitment fees. Its spend fell to £8,000 the following year.
Since starting to work with bClear, Just Mortgages has more than quadrupled its mortgage lending, from £1.2bn to over £5bn, firmly establishing itself as one of the UK’s largest mortgage brokerages. bClear has since supported the launch of successful academy propositions, as well as specialist new-build, wealth and client services divisions.
