What they use bClear for
The objective
We were hired by fintech platform Knowledge Bank ahead of their launch of their mortgage sourcing system. They needed to grow their brand with lenders and brokers – as well as mortgage clubs and networks. But Knowledge Bank’s senior team didn’t need to establish the brand alone – bClear also needed to launch the concept of lending criteria search and ensure it became an essential part of the advice process
What we did
We created a press campaign designed to deliver a constant and consistent stream of coverage in each of the key mortgage press every month XXX. bClear generated over 1,000 pieces of coverage in the first year and secured a further 7,300 pieces of in the years following.
The result
Knowledge Bank now works with over 270 lenders and has more than 140,000 pieces of criteria searchable on the system covering eight lending types: residential, equity release, self-build, bridging, buy to let, second charge, commercial and development finance – making it the largest database of mortgage lending criteria held anywhere in the UK. Over 5,000,000 criteria searches have now been carried out via the Knowledge Bank platform since its launch – which was so successful that copycat systems have since been set up by L&G and 27Tech.
